We're so excited to share our first wedding of 2015!
For our first meeting, Emily and Ed suggested we meet at Samovar Tea Lounge. Being a big tea drinker, I was intrigued and then impressed as Emily and Ed informed me that they chose Samovar as it was one of their favorite vegan-option restaurants. They were looking for a laid back, completely vegan and quintessential-San-Francisco wedding for their families and friends. It was our first vegan wedding, and we were excited to try our hand at this growing trend! We helped them find their location at the SF Film Centre, a hidden gem in the beautiful Presidio. They also landed on Indian cuisine as the most guest-friendly vegan option. And to make the most of their time, they decided on a City Hall civil ceremony the day before the reception. We were also fortunate to be able to recommend one of our favorite florists to help them create relaxed, green, and organic arrangements for the space.
Both being Google employees, their focus was solely on making sure their guests had a good time. And both their communities truly came together for this party filled with Google ice breakers, board games, and some of the most touching toasts we've heard yet. Just check out the photos that their fantastic photographer, Diana Rothery, shared with us. She truly captured Emily and Ed's goofy and fun energy and the crazy love everyone has for them. And the dancing... THE DANCING! We had almost four hours of time left for dancing and they were burning up the floor the entire time! (Don't let anyone tell you that you can't have a good iPod dance party.) Congratulations, you crazy kids!
